Isle of Wight luxury Caravan
These Isle of Wight caravan parks seem to offer everything a family could possibly want!
Although we've not actually stayed at any of them (we're island residents, you see), we have visited each site and can report on what we saw. And, of course, we know all the best spots on the island.
We'll continue our visits on a regular basis and will add to this page as and when we can. Meanwhile, these sites are definitely worthy of your consideration!

Firstly, if direct access to a sandy beach sounds good, you will like which is situated in Whitecliff Bay, just north of
Alternatively, if boating and Cowes Week is your scene, you may prefer to consider at East Cowes where you'll be right in the thick of all the action. This site is so close to the Red Funnel terminal you don't even need a car to get there!
On the other hand, if you fancy a well equipped caravan in a sheltered, walled orchard in the village of Wroxall, with easy access by road to Ventnor, Sandown and Shanklin, then you'll love .
We stayed at Appuldurcombe Gardens years ago when our children were small - and we all loved it, especially the swimming pool and adjacent club house. It has changed hands since then, of course, but as Isle of Wight caravan parks go, it is still very well managed and the grounds and facilities are very well kept.
Appuldurcombe Gardens Holiday Park is situated in a beautiful valley, right next to and the : both well worth a visit!

I had a quick search through some caravan park sites on the IOW and each one had an age limit of 18. This is basically because when you hire anything such as a caravan, or book a hotel room, you are entering a legal contract with the owner, and to be able to do so you have to be an adult..which is what you are at 18.
It may be worth your while to contact the IOW tourist board directly...if anyone is going to know if you can hire anywhere under the age of 18 it will be them!
