Is the luxury car market fading? | Yahoo Answers
I doubt it very much.
Exclusivity will always be in. I purchased a gas guzzler V8 powered vehicle recently because I like the power and speed it offers my SUV. In fact, it was voted one of the worse SUVs for mileage last year. I bought it because it is hand made in Austria, made in very few numbers, and one of the best SUVs for off-roading out there.
The high gas prices don't bother me because I enjoy my vehicle a great deal since my commute isn't that long (less than 10K to downtown). The high gas prices actually make my car more special because fewer people have large SUVs now.
