Oregon Luxury Real Estate

The local paper, The Bend Bulletin, reported "Central Oregon's luxury real estate sits, collect dust." They go on to say that homes over $1, 000, 000 are sitting and not selling. They compare current sales of homes over $1, 000, 000 to sales at the peak of the market 2006 -2007.

The analysis I just ran shows 119 homes sold within the last 12 months between $500, 000 and $1M. These are the essentially the same luxury homes as the 122 homes that sold at the peak. The important difference is they are now 1/2 price of less!

There has never been a better time to buy a luxury home in Bend Oregon than right now. It looks like the real estate market in Bend is currently bottoming out. There is still a lot of cash on the sidelines waiting on the election. But more and more people are tired of waiting and they are jumping in to take advantage of these great prices.
